🐾 Help Us Save More Cats! 🐾
At Hopewell Humane Society, we work hard to rescue, care for, and find loving homes for cats in need—but we can’t do it without you! Every cat we take in requires basic medical care, and your donation helps cover these essential discounted costs:
🐱 $150.00 – Spays/neuters a cat, reducing pet overpopulation and homelessness
💉 $125.00 – Provides full vaccinations, testing, flea medications and keeping cats healthy
🍲 $25 – Feeds a cat for an entire month
💖 Any amount of food or monetary donations helps with emergency medical care, shelter maintenance, and much more!

Meet Mickey, a cat we rescued and cared for with the help of generous donors like you. Every dollar makes a difference! Your support means we are able to help more cats like Mickey, healthier communities, and more happy endings.

Below are some of the past large special events
3/16/21-
Hopewell Humane Society received a large donation of litter. Without the help of the following people/groups we would not have been able to accept the donation.
Mr. Robert Sneed, owner of Sneed's nursery on Huguenot Road. Mr. Sneed donated the use of his flatbed truck and a driver to us so we could pick up the large donation of litter.
VFW 637 Riders Group, Hopewell, Virginia. Members from this riders group came to the shelter on Saturday, March 13, the day of the litter pickup. They helped get all the pallets of litter unloaded.
Also, Amanda Dean, and John and Helen Meleshenko for contributing their time to coordinate this donation.
Without the help and support of these people, we would not have been able to accept the donations which is sorely needed and much appreciated.
